When we talk about "our network," we mean the partner facilities we coordinate with across Cairo and the wider Cairo area: hospitals, laboratories, and imaging centers we work with on a case-by-case basis. Hospitals Co Egypt is a facilitator, not a hospital. We do not own, run, or employ medical staff at any of the facilities named on this page. Each is an independent institution with its own doctors, its own accreditation, and its own admissions process, and each has agreed to work with us as a partner for international patients.

What we add is the matching step in between. When you send us your medical reports, we look at which partner facility has the specialists, equipment, and cost level suited to your specific case, rather than sending every patient to the same default hospital. A patient who needs advanced cardiac surgery is matched differently from a patient who needs a routine outpatient procedure or a set of diagnostic tests, and the facility, the specialists involved, and the price will differ accordingly. The rest of this page explains how that matching works, what genuinely separates the tiers of hospitals we work with, and what our laboratory and imaging partners are used for, so you can see roughly where your own case is likely to fit before you send us a single report.

What "Class A," "B," and "C" Actually Mean

Three tiers of partner hospitals, grouped by specialization, technology, and cost level rather than by quality — the treating medical team recommends the tier that fits your case, not the most expensive option available

Class A: Specialized & Complex Cases

The Class A partner hospitals in our network are the facilities we turn to for complex or highly specialized procedures: cardiac surgery, oncology treatment, advanced orthopedic reconstruction, and similar cases that call for a full range of specialist teams and technology in one place. That level of specialization is reflected in a higher cost level within our network.

Class B: Solid Care, Mid-Range Cost

Class B partner hospitals cover a broad range of general surgery, internal medicine, maternity, and pediatric care, backed by dependable diagnostic support. They suit cases that need reliable hospital-level treatment without requiring the most specialized subspecialty teams, at a correspondingly lower cost level.

Class C: Affordable General Care

Class C partner facilities focus on general medicine, outpatient services, and essential emergency care. They are the most affordable tier in our network, suited to cases that do not require specialized surgical or subspecialty capability.

Your medical reports go to the specialists relevant to your case, who review your history and current results before commenting on suitable treatment options.

2

Capability & Availability Checked

We confirm which partner facility has the specialty team, equipment, and open capacity for your case, and check timing directly with that facility.

3

Options & Estimate Prepared

You receive the treatment options the reviewing specialists consider appropriate, each linked to a specific partner facility with its own cost estimate.

4

Why These Laboratories and Imaging Centers

The diagnostic partners our partner hospitals already recognize and accept

Al-Mokhtabar, Al Borg, and Al-Tayyeb are laboratory providers with locations across Egypt, covering routine blood work and biochemistry through to hormone panels, genetic screening, and histopathology or cytology for cases that need a tissue diagnosis. Al-Tahera Radiology Center, Egypt Radiology Center, and EGY Scan Center cover the imaging side, from X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography through to CT, MRI, and PET-CT for cases that need more detailed cross-sectional imaging.

The reason we direct patients to these specific providers, rather than whichever lab or clinic happens to be nearest, is that our partner hospitals already recognize their reports and accept results from them without repeating the test. If your treating specialist asks for updated bloodwork, an MRI, or a biopsy before confirming a plan, we can point you to one of these providers knowing the result will be usable by the hospital handling your case, which saves you a repeat test and the extra days that would otherwise add to your visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our partner hospital network in Egypt

What do Class A, B and C actually mean?

They are cost and specialisation tiers, not quality grades. Class A covers complex or highly specialised procedures such as cardiac surgery, oncology and advanced orthopaedic reconstruction, and sits at a higher cost level. Class B covers general surgery, internal medicine, maternity and paediatric care at a mid-range cost. Class C covers general medicine, outpatient services and essential emergency care, and is the most affordable tier. The treating medical team recommends the tier that fits your case, not the most expensive option available.

Do you own the hospitals in your network?

No. Hospitals Co Egypt is a facilitator, not a hospital. We do not own, run, or employ medical staff at any of the facilities we work with. Each is an independent institution with its own doctors, its own accreditation and its own admissions process, and each has agreed to work with us as a partner for international patients.

Will I be sent to the most expensive hospital?

No. When your medical reports arrive we look at which partner facility has the specialists, equipment and cost level suited to your specific case, rather than sending every patient to the same default hospital. A patient who needs advanced cardiac surgery is matched differently from one who needs a routine outpatient procedure, and the facility, the specialists involved and the price differ accordingly.

How many hospitals and laboratories are in the network?

Twenty Class A hospitals, thirty Class B and fifty Class C, alongside around 500 laboratories. Named partners include As-Salam International Hospital, Arab Contractors Medical Center and Dar Al Fouad Hospital in Class A; Safwa Golf Hospital, Pearl Hospital and Grand Hospital in Class B; and Badr University Hospital, Yasmine Maadi Hospital and Ghar Hara Hospital in Class C.

Which laboratories handle my tests?

Al-Mokhtabar Laboratory handles blood tests, biochemistry and hormone analysis. Al Borg Laboratory covers DNA testing, genetic screening and molecular biology. Al-Tayyeb Laboratory handles histopathology, cytology and immunohistochemistry. Which one is used depends on the tests your treating physician requests.

Not Sure Which Partner Facility Fits Your Case?

Send us your medical reports and we will match you with the specialists and the cost level suited to your situation. There is no obligation until you have a clear plan and cost estimate in hand.
